Our Staff
Global Investment and Development is comprised of a staff of
seasoned real estate professionals who specialize in land acquisitions and
development, and may assist in business plan preparation, strategic project
planning, financing, acquisitions, risk management and legal matters. The
company's successful project record over the last 16 years is derived from the
staff's comprehensive ability to analyze and study all aspects of a land
project. It is well understood that to unlock the potential for land
development, many steps must be taken by the development company. The team at
Global Investment and Development has the experience and expertise to
effectively take the necessary steps toward utilizing land for its highest
value and thus maximizing profits for its clients and investors.
Joseph Rivani
Joseph co-manages Global with his brother Aaron and has
contracted for and/or purchased and sold more than $450,000,000 in residential,
commercial and industrial land and commercial properties.
He has over 25 years of experience in the areas of Southern
California, Northern California and Arizona.
Joseph has initiated numerous General Plan Amendments (GPA) and
zoning changes, in addition to the processing of numerous Tentative Tract Maps
and Final Maps. Such maps have ranged in size from ten acres to hundreds
of acres.
Education:
Joseph attended Iowa State University in the Ames School of
Electrical Engineering and graduated with honors in 1978. He then
attended the University of Illinois' Urbana School of Electrical Engineering
which specialized in detection theory. In 1980 Joseph published a paper
in the IEEE newsletter. That same year he graduated with honors and
received his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Aaron Rivani
Aaron co-manages Global with his brother Joseph with more than
seventeen years of real estate experience in the purchase, development and sale
of commercial, office buildings, apartment buildings and land (residential,
commercial and industrial) throughout Texas, California and Nevada. He
has advised lenders, investors, developers and builders throughout his career
on real estate management and development. Aaron's diversified experience
includes acquisitions, entitlement, marketing, arrangement of joint ventures,
and financing for clients.
Aaron has managed and analyzed raw land, partially improved
land, finished lots, marketing programs, and infrastructures systems for both
commercial and residential properties.
Education:
Aaron graduated from the prestigious Advanced Institute of
Accounting in Tehran in 1979. He is also an engineer by experience,
specializing in the field of water and waste water treatment.
